THE COMMUNITY HOUSE:
Early in October, Orange Twin members were told that the house at 163 Jonas St. in Athens, Ga was to be demolished, and that we could have the house if it could be moved within 30 days. We sprang into action and the house was moved by the end of that month. We are currently restoring the house to be used as our “Farm House.” We hope that by creating a place for people to start living on the property we will also become able to build out-buildings such as a barn, a work-shop and greenhouses for the project. These buildings are not allowed to be built until there is a residence on site. The house will also be a place for group meetings and meals. It will have an upstairs studio that will be rented to help pay for the restoration. We hope to have a grand opening for the project sometime around the first of the new year. We will be posting new pictures of the house as they come in.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Donate Money - So this house wasn’t really free. Actually it is costing us quite a bit. If you would like to donate to the project we would love it. We really appreciate any support. No amount is too small.

Labor -There regularly schedule group work days. Please email village @ orangetwin.com if you are interested in volunteering labor. Some of the projects will be painting, caulking, landscaping and planting kitchen gardens. Learn lots and hang out with us.
