Early in October 2005, Orange Twin members were told that the house at 163 Jonas St. in Athens, Ga was to be demolished, and that we could have the house if it could be moved within 30 days. We sprang into action and the house was moved by the end of that month. Since then we've repainted the exterior and begun establishing a presence in the immediate surroundings of the house. The garden has consistently grown over the past 3 years and we are currently home to 26 chickens, a hive of bees and a duck! Having the farm house has been key in creating a central location on the land for meeting and organizing projects. We hope to begin hosting volunteer workdays with greater frequency!

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Donate Money - Well now, the farm-house construction was finished quite a while ago, but if you would like to donate to help build the 4 acre CSA farm we would sure love it! We really appreciate any support. Donations collected are currently being spent on land clearing, planting cover crops, and building soil in the CSA area. We also hope to offer workshops such as "build your own compressed earth brick making machine" in the upcoming year! No amount is too small.

Labor -We are trying to include everyone who'se shown an interest in helping out as much as we can. We'll post upcoming events on our main webpage!
